Walker Group is excited to announce our all new Intermediate/Advanced Xactimate training, with a heavy emphasis on graphical estimation. Becoming an expert in Xactimate with Sketch is an essential part of being a successful Walker Group adjuster and we encourage all adjusters to attend.

Fees, Experience and Equipment Requirements:

Tuition: $249

Experience/Training Requirements: Basic training or equivalent experience in Xactimate is recommended, this is an intermediate thru Advanced Xactimate class.

Hard Drive

 

5 GB of continual free space is required to run Xactimate. A 5400 RPM drive is required.

Resolution

 

Monitor resolution must be set to 1024x600 or higher.

Internet

 

Internet access is required. Internet Explorer 7+ is required.

Optical Drive

 

A DVD drive is required to install Xactimate from disc.

Prerequisites

 

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (packaged with Xactimate 27)

Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 or 2005/2008 Express Edition (2008 Express Edition is packaged with Xactimate 27).

Software Requirements: Active or Demo version of Xactimate 27. Important Note:  Xactimate 27 demo versions have a dedicated keycode and are only 15 day trials, not 30.  Also, according to Xactimate, you will only be allowed two(2) downloads of the demo.  Therefore, we reccomend not downloading the version until just prior to class in order to optimize your training time after the class.

Payment must be received 7 days prior to the class for your seat to be held.

Refund Policy: Tuition, less a $75.00 processing fee, may be refunded up to14 days before the beginning of a class.  If an adjuster is unable to attend the Walker Group Xactimate Sketch Training Course, they may within one year, reschedule to any future course which may be in a different location.

Cancellation Policy: Walker Group may cancel any training at any time.  Reasons may include, but are not limited to, lack of participation of attendees, weather, and Acts of God.

Why should I take this Xactimate with Sketch class?

There are three reasons to take regular adjuster training:

1 - To gain knowledge and practical skill. This training will increase your speed and accuracy using Xactimate sketch as an estimating skill. This allows you to work more claims per day with less mistakes, improving your bottom-line. This intermediate to advanced Xactimate with Sketch Training Course is a great way to improve your knowledge in Xactimate and efficiency writing claims.

2 - Adding certifications and completing regular training shows us that you are keeping up with the technology and practices in the adjusting field. Walker Group strives to deploy those who possess the ability to adapt quickly and close claims with limited supervision. Those who continue to train and develop their adjusting skills will always be first deployed.

3- This class is designed to identify those who can comprehend Xactimate Sketch concepts and successfully apply them to insurance claim scenarios. Adjusters who complete this class will be more equipped to compete for the positions that become available this year in this lucrative and exciting profession.

Who are the instructors?

Training will be provided by Walker Group instructors who are licensed, experienced adjusters. Your instructors will be able to relate directly to your issues, as they have adjusting experience in both daily claims and catastrophe claims. Along with adjusting experience, they have a background in construction, remodeling and restoration. They understand how to get the most out of a classroom environment and will work at making your experience relaxed and pressure free.

These classes have been tailored to the needs of today's adjuster by your instructors. The adjusting field, especially the software aspect of it, is constantly changing and evolving. Our instructors are continually updating their training and working in the field to keep up to date on the latest developments. We assure you that you will gain valuable knowledge and skills to become more proficient, more marketable, and more profitable.

What is included in the training?

Our Xactimate training encompasses all the necessary foundational concepts, components, features, and benefits of Xactimate featuring Sketch. This three day curriculum will be augmented with a training workbook, training CD, electronic training aides, and live Xactimate instruction. Students will be given a take home exam to be completed and emailed back to the instructors.

Is an official Xactimate certificate provided for the course?

No, only Xactware can issue official Xactimate certifications. However, you will receive the foundation, direction, and resources you need to prepare for the level II or III Xactimate Certification?. You are encouraged to complete the Xactimate certification directly from their website on your own time after completing the course.

You will be provided with a Walker Group, Inc. certificate on successful completion of the course.

What will the class size be?

Small class sizes create a better learning environment. Class size will be maintained at a student to instructor ratio of approximately 12 to 1.

Walker Group is committed to building the most trained and experienced roster of adjusters. This class assists us in our marketing efforts and allows us to follow through with our promises to carriers and their customers.

Where can I take the class?
